Series of mixed media pastel paintings made in so called moments for relaxation during time when i didn’t allow myself to rest. Being under a big amount of stress i was not able to shut down my thouths about everything and everybody. Occasionaly i brought myself to stilness with memories of my young self sitting on my computer and talking to my friends not worrying about a single thing in life. While looking back there’s a sense of naive confidence about things working out perfectly no matter the situation. Series of pastel paintings is a personal works made to be able recognise smart emotional problem solving of past self while the main protaganist in these works are characters that resemble japanese cartoons and comics that i was very fond of. This is a reminder to myself that i’m not so easiely presuaded by internal worry as i think i should be so there is time for working and there is time for calming inaction.
