Three painting series about everyday interactions with digital scammers. This era is filled with many ablities to hide ones identity on the internet. Social media is filled with fake profiles of people that in some way try to presuade others on giving money for their ‘cause’. For specific generations it is easy to depict a scam from a real deal but others are not as well informed about the tools that these people can have, for example, both of my parents can be easily manipulated by social media and ads for them to get scammed on the internet. Paintings of NET-Scammers depict people who have commited a fraud so it works as a stop sign for a second tought about possibilities of masking ones identity on digital platforms.
